St Teresa’s Parish became amalgamated with St Osmund’s, Breightmet and became part of the Blessed Dominic Barberi Parish in October 2019.
Our Parish Priest
I am Fr. Emmanuel Chukwujekwu, a priest of the Religious Order of the Holy Family Fathers and Brothers of the Youth, originally from Nigeria.
I was ordained to the Sacred Priesthood on the 24th of July, 2021.
In October 2022, I was sent to serve in this country, beginning my ministry as a Parish Vicar in the Diocese of Shrewsbury, where I worked for one year.
In September 2023, I was transferred to the Diocese of Salford to work with Canon Michael Cooke, the first Vicar General of this great diocese.
I served there faithfully until October 2025, when I was asked to take charge of this lovely parish, a mission I joyfully embrace with gratitude and commitment.
